History repeats itself in the Anand Carlsen Match - 2014

The hype built around the "great white hope" came crashing down in the 2014 Anand Carlsen match. If at all anything, Anand more than proved a point that even past his prime he is more than a match for Carlsen and made the latter look pretty ordinary throughout the match's progress so far. Let's look at some key aspects of the match so far and see how history seems to be repeating itself,

The decline of Anand: Let's face it! Anand of 2007-2008 was one of the most destructive chess forces in the world leaving a trail of destruction behind in matches and tournaments. He would not spare anyone, not even the genius who beat the motor mouth Kasparov. Kramnik was an equal of Anand in all aspects of chess. Kramnik is not someone you can beat through cheap psychological tricks or even opening preparation. The former is something Danialov/Topalov can vouch for and the latter is something that great pimp of the west, Kasparov, can vouch for. Still, Anand through a combination of out of the box preparation and dynamic on the board play beat his equal. It was just sheer chess pleasure. Problem for a guy like me who likes both Kramnik and Anand equally (also add Gelfand and Karjakin to the list) is that one of your favs won while another fav lost. Then in 2010 began the wane. The match against Topalov though a hard fought one was simply not a demonstration of the chess of prime Anand. It was at best a mediocre display not in line with his 2007-2008 standards. That he had to go through a lot of trouble to get the venue of the match is another matter. Anand did show his pedigree when he still beat Topalov convincingly preventing a tie after game 12 thus leading to rapid games where he would have had the edge. Anand was the best rapid player of his generation to which Topalov also belongs. Here in Indic race we do not believe in saying things such as "greatest of all time" as easily and freely done by the fan-boys of the west, especially the Germanic descendant ones!

If we look at it deeply, Anand's son came along. Here in India, family comes first, before everything else. In Family we see God and all that is good in him. Fatherhood is more important to an Indian man than wealth or cheap allures of Kama. Somewhere during that time his tournament playing slowed down and Carlsen was the new number one. Anand did challenge Carlsen to reclaim the number one tag which he did achieve successfully but then Anand's priorities clearly changed. He was content playing what he does best, play matches! He reduced his tournament play and that impacted his ratings. He peaked at 2817-2820. He could have easily gone past it but simply chose not to for other priorities beckoned. Carlsen made full use of Anand's decline. The young genius went on to scale new heights and beat everyone until there was no one else to beat.

Then 2012 happened. Gelfand at his best! This master of theory and no less a player in practice scaled the peak and at that time was one of the best, easily winning the candidates to challenge Anand. Here were two gentlemen, my two favourite players, from my two most favourite nations, India and Israel. Who do you support? Its a tough ask! Both of them put western-pimp Kasparov in his place. Smack came the two slaps on the old motor mouth who was as eccentric as Fissure...er..Fischer. Anand beat Gelfand by a narrow margin. It was not a convincing win by most standards. Anand kept saying that Gelfand was at his best and he was a very tough opponent. Anand was vindicated when Gelfand raked up win after win in strong tournaments in the very same year.

The thing with competitive sport is that once you wind down its very difficult to remain at the top. By 2013 it was easily clear that Anand was definitely not the best but still had substantial ability and drive in him to make a big bang if he were to so chose. All that he needed was motivation! Achieving all that he did, what else could motivate someone who achieved it all?

The (hyped up) rise of Carlsen: Magnus Carlsen is a great chess player, no doubt. He has won the right to be number one and has worked hard to achieve all that he has! But wait, is he a genius on the same level of Anand, Kramnik or Karpov or Botvinnik or Capablanca? Hell no!

Let me explain. It is one thing to slowly grind your opponents and win games as against producing beauties on the board. Ivanchuk, Kramnik, Anand, Topalov, Fischer all produced beauties on the board. There are very many beautiful games of these geniuses that can be cherished by chess lovers for the very beauty of the tactics and strategy bring out the beauty of chess! The quality of the game matters more than if you went up a pawn. Kasparov's immortal is remembered not because Kasparov won or Topalov lost, it is remembered for the beauty of the game. Coming back to the point, Carlsen simply does not produce such beauties at the rate of his predecessors. Please let's not point to his age, he has been a grandmaster now for 10 years and is quite a senior given how young GMs of today start.

Carlsen is a winner on the board, no doubt, but to chess connoisseurs like me he hardly evokes admiration. He wins games, not hearts of chess lovers. Capa could, Alyokhin could, Lasker could, not Carlsen! Chucky could, Kasparov could, Karpov could, Spassky could but not Carlsen, at least at the rate of his predecessors. Caruana is able to though! I rate Caruana and Karjakin better than Carlsen in this aspect, even Giri!

Those comparing Karpov to Carlsen are insulting the former. The former had respect for his opponents, something Carlsen or Fischer for that matter had. Anand or Kramnik or Kasparov on realizing that the game is drawn would agree for one and look forward  to the next match! Carlsen has this sadistic pleasure in "grinding" games. The so called "torture" of his opponents hour after hour hoping to generate blunders of the first order in order to seal a win! Sure there are victories to be seen but where is the honour I ask? To win at any rate, even dubious means? Like Fischer, the great megalomaniac said "I want to destory the ego of my opponent". This represents all that is wrong in the Neanderthal gene infested Germannic tribes of today. The need to "crush" or "torture" others.

The cultural moorings on the hype behind Carlsen: Civilizations and cultures with inferiority complexes relish destroying other superior breed civilizations around them using horde tactics. Take the barbarian Germannics or the Huns for example. Or let's take the case of the Arabs and Turks or even the Mongols. The Germannics took down the non-white Romans and Greeks down (latter more by Slavs). The Arabs took out the Persians and the Turks came very close to destroying India. The Indians of course fought back and took the fight into the Islamic lands right before the last of the barbarians, the British sacked India.

You can clearly see this trend continuing to this day where the Germannic tribe infested nations take great pride in bringing down other civilizations which are clearly superior to them in breeding and culture. Like the way the British enjoyed destroying the underpinnings of Indian education and culture, the way the Americans relished the defeat of the Japanese etc. Where the Germannic tribes cannot take down an enemy who is even superior militarily they engage in a war of attrition and propoganda. Take the cold war for example, the Americans never dared the Soviets into a fight but kept up the propoganda machine running full time. Even the Indians were not spared. Any sport occassion is an opportunity to somehow "demonstrate" the "superiority" of the "West aka Germannic tribes. The trend to this usually is as below,

1. Ignore any sport where they don't have world beaters, read Chess before 1970s.
2. When a promising player comes along, make a larger than life figure out of them. Fischer is the best example of this. They hyped him so much that the fool actually started believing it. His streak against others was impressive but one short burst of victories and the Americans started calling him the "greatest chess player of ALL time". Reminds you of Carlsen? Hold on we will get to it.
3. Inject propoganda, dirty tactics, sleaze, espionage into the event. Damn the sport, it is the "western superiority" that matters.
4. Psyche out the gentlemen opponents to a point where its no longer about only the sport. The opponent wants to be just left out of the media glare at this point.

Fischer was eventually hyped up to such a point that the man was now dead scared to smell defeat. Other rising stars (and level headed) ones at that would eventually unseat him in what is the history cycle of sport where champions rise, dominate, wane and are unseated by challengers. Fischer now petrified about the prospect of losing to Karpov should he chose to compete simply ran away from doing so. To Fischer's credit he was a worthy champion and a very good one at that. Defeating Spassky is no mean task which he accomplished. The propaganda machine was so destructful that it made a complete eccentric of Fischer. Fischer saw through this, became a rebel and eventually died a lonely death fighting to the last minute the very nation and its apparatus which brought things to such a pass to him. The media loved eccentric champions all the more, it brought in the $$$ for people loved the whacko ones all the more than the gentlemen. That's one reason Anand sells far less than Kasparov or Carlsen.

With the rise of Karpov, a staunch gentleman and a patriot at that the "West" lost all stake it had in the system. Karpov was a normal guy at that, hardly the ones which evoke the interest of the papparazzi. Worse there was no "Western champ" around as well. What do you do when you dont have talent of your own but still want to go around town claiming your system produced the "latest and greatest"? Simple, appropriate one, even if it is one from the enemy camp.

We here in Indic race are no fans of the Soviets or the Americans, but in the comparison between the two the former come across as being more level-headed and less destructive even though they had pretty weird ideologies, even worse than the Americans at that. Then came along Kasparov. Here was this eccentric, self indulgent megalomaniac of a man who would even sell his nation to get what he wanted! "Western admiration and paens singing directed at him"! The perfect candidate to appropriate. While at it having Kamsky in the fray was also not a bad idea though the approach to him was a world apart which is outside of the scope of this post. Thus began the process of what would eventually end up in making a pimp of Kasparov to the west. Kasparov was projected as the "rebel" even though Kasparov was a member of the communist party of the Soviet Union. Kasparov the young rebel against the bad old communist boy Karpov. Immense resources went into Kasparov's home preparation to make sure he had somewhat of a chance against Karpov. To Kasparov's credit he was indeed a bright player but again in terms of pure chess he was no match to Karpov. Tame Kasparov's home preparation and you had a mediocre player. Western backed player against the mighty Soviet chess machine, this ought to be interesting!!!

Karpov would munch up tournament after tournament, winning more of those in the process than Kasparov. The matches, however,  were the battleground to "prove western superiority". Match after match Kasparov managed to sneak in wafer thin victories on the basis of home preparation and somewhat average on the board chess play against the great Karpov. "All that is needed is a win", sounds familiar? Hold on. Kasparov thus became the next Fischer, larger than the life and a "close-to-white hope".

The strong hold of the Soviet Union and Russia on FIDE was just too strong. It was necessary to break that. Of course Kasparov was always around to do what the west wanted. What do you do when you cannot control a sport's superior governing body? Easy, create one yourself! Thus came around PCA sponsored by Intel!! That freak of an experiment lasted not very long eventually crashing after 2000. Ironically Kasparov was defeated in a PCA match!! By someone who outclassed him in home preparation. This unseating of Kasparov shattered the man who never went on to become world champion again, beaten in his own game by a combo of great chess talent and home prep. The Kramnik and Anand combo dominated Kasparov from then on until 2005 when Kasparov retired. Thus came crashing down what was one of the best support systems in Chess built up by Kasparov, of course with great Western help. Oh, and while at it, let us not forget to note how the western fanboys of Kasparov reacted to the defeat,

1. Beaten by home prep.
2. Kasparov had "personal" problems.
3. Freak victory, Kasparov is still better than Kramnik.
4. Kramnik was never the legal challenger, it was Shirov. After all Kasparov can beat Shirov who beat Kramnik.

Let us also keep in mind that Kasparov had had his career peak of 2856 in the same year. Kasparov, now the spent force that he was in chess was used for another purpose, to take over Russian politics, but thats another topic out of scope of this post.

The period between 2000 and 2008 was a period of great discomfort in "Western chess circles". Anand, Kramnik, Topalov and a host of non-whites were ruling the roost. Then comes along this North Germannic Carlsen :-)). See the trends? eh? The Germannics are funny ain't they? Problem was that this chap was too young and was being easily beaten by the likes of Kramnik and Anand who were well into their peaks. Worse, geniuses like Kramnik would could not be taken down by psych tactics made a "client" of Carlsen. Something had to be done.

Then comes to mind the remark of motor-mouth Kasparov on the Polgar sisters -- "Trained Dog!". What do you do when your next white hope needs to be made a dominant "Greatest of all time" player? Easy, make him a "trained Dog"!! Thus came Carlsen under the training of Kasparov. While there was some "chess", there was a lot of training in the "psych" aspects of the game. Who better than to train under for these nasty tricks? Suddenly emerged a new Carlsen who apart from his increased chess strength was armed with a host of new "tactics".

Kramnik, Anand and Gelfand would have none of it. They would ridicule Carlsen. Kramnik once joked on Carlsen on how worked up the lad was on fighting himself on whether he should play the move he wanted or the one he was "trained" to play by Kasparov! Carlsen was a pretty smart Germannic at that, he fired Kasparov! Or at least that was what they would have the world believe!

Fischer Redux:

It was now time for Fischer Part II. Thus began the Fischerization of Carlsen into the "greatest of all time", "crushing player", "dominating player", strongest player ever etc etc. But wait! That brown guy Anand was the world champ! Worse, he was still too strong to beat by the "Great white hope". What do you do when your "western player" cannot match the non-white champ as yet? Easy, wait it out, that is wait till the champ is past his prime, cook a story or two on how he won't compete in the candidates or any other assorted random reason and put off meeting the champ. In the meantime, Carlsen by his own hard work and talent would scale new heights. Full marks to him.

But wait! Here comes Caruana who is just as strong and who is "not white" enough. The Germannics were treated as barbarians by the Mediterranean and North African Romans, old scores were to be settled! What do you do when you have someone emerging from the "west" who is not a Germanic? Easy, just have your champ say that he does not consider Italy a western or a civilized country at that!! "we Norwegians do not regard Italy as a Western country, or a civilized country for that matter (sic)! That was easy!!

Come 2013 and it was easy for all to see that Anand had clearly gone past his prime and was now more drawn by family life and the joys associated with it. Now was the time to take him on! Thus began the next step of the process, to vilify Anand and show the world how much of a "minnow" he was in front of the great white hope. Some of the nicest things said were as below,

1. Anand was weaker than Carlsen.
2. Anand was never a worthy champion
3. Anand was poor champ as he dint play much tournaments
4. Anand was boring!

Of course no one would talk about how average Carlsen's performance in the candidates tournament was. While Carlsen was quick to point out Anand's unconvincing win over Gelfand he would not talk much on his own performance in the candidates and how there was injustice meted out to Kramnik. While rules are rules, for someone who derided the WCC process (and then went on to become part of it when the timing was right) there was not much questions asked by Carlsen on how he was better than Kramnik and why there should not have been a one on one with Kramnik to see who was better.

Things went worse from there on. Keyboard warriors who knew next to nothing in chess were making statements claiming Carlsen was stronger than Anand! What fool would make a statement like that? Anand was made out as an under dog to begin with. Poor Anand was so psyched out during the match that he was visibly nervous. Anand is no Kramnik. Put him through psychological pressure and he will crack easily as seen against Kasparov in 1995 and Karpov in 1998 though the latter was more due to physical exhaustion. Anand was rock steady in the first four games and the pressure and age caused him to crack resulting in uncharacteristic blunders and losing games which should have been drawn! Kasparov was brought in to psyche out Anand further. All the ingredients added to the pot!! Anand and family were upset with the vilification and why Anand was being put down so badly! Anand's mother said it right at the end of the match asking the world not to forget that Anand was a five time world champion!!!

That was it! The great white hope had arrived and scaled the summit! The west was superior again! Western fanboys went mad with joy on how Carlsen was now the "Greatest and strongest of all time"!! Carlsen went on to say that he would now teach Anand on Chess!! Fantastic! Very humble and respectful.

But Anand had a thing or two coming. He went on to win the candidates, defeated Carlsen in a one-on-one in Dubai, won the Bilboa masters and faced Carlsen in the 2014 match. The build up to the match had the usual ingredients,

1. Carlsen will crush Anand
2. If Anand beat all others in the candidates, it goes to show how strong Carlsen has become who beat Anand easily!
3. Anand will lost by a greater margin this time!
4. Anand should retire!
5. Anand will be torutured!! Nothing can save him!

Come match and post two average performances by Anand the world realized quickly that Anand not only held his own in games 3, 4 and 5 he also was able to defeat and dominate Carlsen easily! Poooof! There went the balloon of Carlsen's superiority. Of course the following were also thrown in,

1. Anand's victory was home preparation
2. Carlsen is out of form!

To be noticed is that not only did Anand out-prepare Carlsen, he also was able to endure the "grinds" against Carlsen with a bit of effort. Worse! Anand made it look easy and also made Carlsen look pretty average. Carlsen was bleeding elo points all along as well. Magnus was on the receiving end and in uncharted territory. The Carlsen fan boys went silent on the forums, the usual culprits and motor mouths now silent! They had expected 5-0 in favour of Carlsen and it was not to be. It is clear that Anand does not have it in him longer to win the match but the fight he is putting up is ensuring a lot of mouths remain shut! The match is indeed on!

It is at this point that one wonders if Carlsen will shake off the yoke of the western propaganda machinery and acquire a sense of humility and respect toward peers or go down the same route as Fischer or Kasparov. Carlsen did make conciliatory statements before the match that he was not playing well and it was time to be humble! Does he intend to be humbly when not in form and arrogant when he is doing well? That question needs to be answered. Carlsen will need to remember that his peers of his generation like Caruana and Karjakin are catching up with him and they have their heads on their shoulders!

Will Carlsen continue on his path to becoming a self obsessed megalomaniacal boorish boxer type Chess champ or tone down thus preventing himself from becoming another Kasparov or Fischer?? Time will tell. Maybe Caruana's recent comments on being compared to Karpov would be a role model for him. Hope Carlsen, the talented chess player also becomes a good human being and an independent one at that far outside the orbit of western hype. Who knows? After all history has a way of repeating itself!

The concealed hand of the foreign religion

Namaste,

For all its claims on being apolitical and lacking in any foreign influence, it is clear that a all-controlling foreign hand (read the Christian United States Govt) was instrumental in remotely controlling the Kudankulam "agitation". Hordes of brain-washed Christians led by the "Church" did exactly what Hindu leaders have been saying for some time now, that conversions are in their true spirit, exercises of changing the political allegiance of masses and that such conversions and their leaders have causes inimical to national interests and beneficial to an external foreign entity. It is an open secret that the US govt is supportive of missionaries and their various fronts and actively uses USAID and other organizations like world vision international to achieve its aims, both explicitly and implicitly as the situation demands. It was not without reason that the "West" turned the Pope against the Soviets and brought down USSR. It was not without reason that the Church of England was formed to ensure that the subjects of the "British empire" retained their allegiance to the rulers of the land and not to some powerful clergy sitting in some nominal tiny state somewhere.

Mention this to frothing pseudo-secularists in India and they will go into a frenzy and hop mad. Ask them, on the other hand, who is controlling PMANE and how funds are routed to the "Social cause" organization and you will get hazy incoherent replies which if bereft of any substance and logic will however definitely come across as being politically correct with the usual hatred to everything Indian and Hindu thrown in to the mix. It is a matter of irony that the Congress govt itself, which the pseudo-secularists rush falling head and heels over to support as "secularist", declared that the Kudankulam agitators were receiving foreign funds and support to subvert the internal security of India. It is again an open secret that the US govt is in no way happy that the Indian govt decided to purchase nuclear reactors from Russia as against buying obsolete technology from itself. Hence, all these efforts to sabotage and create an impression of lack of nuclear safety. It is also ironical that the only nation in the world which dropped nuclear weapons which resulted in the slaughter and genocide of thousands of civilians would raise the bogey of nuclear safety to subvert the nation's energy production plans.

If any doubts exist on the idea of continued colonial hangover still existing in Indians then it will suffice to mention that the PMANE children" wrote to Obama's daughters to come "save" them. That a rag-tag nation consisting predominantly of "overnight rich" Germannic tribe descendants who are themselves Christian converts led by a Christian Black President would come to the rescue of converts to Christianity in a far-away culturally advanced nation like India must have seemed plausible to these "children", after all they have been tutored by their parents who see no wrong in subverting their own nation on the whims of foreign powers.

Long long lull

Dear all,

I apologize for the really long lull in the writings for this blog. I vow to keep this blog active and ensure frequent updates. I was recently reading a very interesting article on the Greek ethnicity and was fascinated the arguments against believing that there is any homogeneity to it.

Jaichands of today -- Indian Chamchas to the Gora man exist even today

Om Namo Venkatesaaya,

Most self-respecting and conscious Hindus know about Raja Jaichand. Jaichand was a traitor to the national cause, he betrayed his nation and Hindus to settle personal scores. Nothing was lost though, Prithviraj Chouhan soundly defeated the Islamic tyrant and semi-human barbarian by name Ghori only to let him go. Hindu civilization continues to this day in spite of such Jaichands.

Now why did I bring up that neanderthal Jaichand? Just yesterday, I was watching this half-Gora Rahul Gandhi speak in the parliament on the Lokpal. Apart from the sad fact that a Gora rules us today by proxy and usurped other able Congress leaders of Indian origin just by the fact of relationship with the Gandhi family, the glorious parliament being desecrated by the presence of this half-Mleccha in its centre, one another very very sharp and tragic travesty came to my notice. The image of Jyotiraditya Scindia standing behind Raul is probably the worst insult heaped on the Maratha legacy. It is to be recollected that the Marathas revived the Hindu renaissance originally started by the Rajputs and the Vijayanagara kingdom and eventually expelled every single Mleccha barbarian from India. Those that surrendered to their will (and thus to the Rashtra) were spared and tribute was collected from them (for example, the Nizam). Is it from such a legacy that this modern day Jaichand arose? This Jaichand who for the sake of politics and yearning for power sides himself with this so-called youth icon by name Raul? Isn't this a slap in the face of the brave Peshwas who fought hard to ensure foreigners do not rule India?

Note this picture below. How idolizing Indians with stars in their eyes gather around this half-Gora. This is not surprising at all. Many a occassion I see Indians in groups staring at Goras. Somehow these deracinated Indians have forgotten the greatness of their culture and the wonderful achievements of the Indic Race that they now have stars in their eyes when they see these "overnight rich" Goras.

(Image Copyright --> The Hindu, taken from link)

Note how they jostle for space to stand next to the Gora man. This Gora man, by the way, for the purpose of clarity, did not become PM-heir apparent by his intellectual or leadership prowess. It was by his ancestry. Indeed, all the others in the picture cannot be PM material and will always have to be subservient to our Gora Babu because dynastic politics runs high in Congress and everyone, including our current honourable PM, Sri Manmohan Singh is subject to it. Now, here is one true Desi product and 100% Indic in race. Varun Gandhi. Poor chap, he is ignored and banished by the media because he isn't a Gora product and also he is not a pseudo-secularist!

(Image Copyright --? TopNews.in, taken from link)

On a lighter note, I came across a Jaichand recently. This Jaichand was very eager to express to this Gora Babus that my "thoughts on westerners converting to Hinduism" reeked of ignorance and us natives are always wrong, only the Gora Babus can be right. This gentleman was very happy to see Goras coming to Hinduism and am sure this desire comes from the Jaichand mentality of Gora Babu being right in all, if Gora Babu comes to Hinduism, ayyo jolly onleee. You can see that ever-so-ready-capitulation at this link. To be frank, the owner of that blog (Tandava, by name) is a very polite western gentleman but unfortunately that space is crowded by others who are not so elegant or dignified as Sri. Tandava. One convert went rabid and posted ill-mannered comments about me in the blog, obviously this reeked of lack of courage to take me head on in intellectual conversations and instead resorted to mean tactics. When I confronted this convert head-on he came up with even more rabid comments on how hurtful my comments have been. Indeed, my freedom to express my thoughts in a humble and decent manner is "offensive" to some. But then as our friend Jaichand said in this post, why bother and let us just not respond to the ignorant soul onleee :-).

Lull in posts -- Working on some articles and also reading a book

Namaste,

Of late my blog has been a bit quiet. I am researching material for my new article and I am also reading the book "Breaking India -- Western intervention in Dalit and Dravidian faultlines" by Rajiv Agarwal and Aravind Neelakandan. I promise to post soon. The one article I am working on is "How an Indian can counter a white racist and put him in place'.

Asaduddin Owaisi asks all Indians to convert to Islam -- Pakistaniyat in full flow

So on the big fight programme on NDTV, Owaisi shamelessly asks all Indians to convert to Islam. The true . agenda of the Hyderabadi Muslim is out. How much longer does India have to tolerate such bigots who have it easy as the pseudo secular brigade has conveniently given them the "secular" tag apart from the "victim" and "aggrieved" labels. What a shame! We had to have Police action to get the Hyderabadi Muslims to be a part of India. Many of these Muslims were outright anti-nationals and wanted their own caliphate! The razakars were the imposed terrorists on the hapless non-Muslim population of erstwhile Hyderabad kingdom.

And who are the allies of these terrorist scum? It is the con-gress!

Mumbai blasts -- Another wonderful product of the 1000 year Islamic onslaught

It just isnt enough that every day we have to hear a new type of fatwa put out by the local Mullahs, every year we have to have a terrorist attack on our national capital or financial centre. sigh! one more blast, thanks to the wonderful friendly local neighbour Pakistani terrorist!

Refreshing to see a Hindu from Kerala

Of late I felt that Hindus have become extinct in Kerala. All I meet from Kerala in work are Thomases, Johns, Davids, Sayeds, Kruruvillas, Shineys etc etc. Not many Hindus. One guy I recently met had the name Arun which sparked home in me but then I learnt he was Christian and his last name was a Christian one which he dint tell me at the outset! And then I get this friend request from a Hindu from Kerala, wowee there is hope after all and this gentleman replied "Alive and Kicking" which made me feel very good inside. There is hope after all. Oh, BTW I am a regular follower of haindavakeralam. Every language group in India needs to have one of their own.

Aryans landed in the Konkan

The news is out that a 8000 year old civilization has been found in the Konkan coast. Just wondering, how soon will it be before Romila Thapar and Michael Witzel come out and declare that the Aryans first arrived in the Konkan coast and then began imposing their caste system on the "natives". Wait! This can cause trouble as then the DMK party will no longer be able to rouse emotions by speaking against the North Indians as the Aryans are now South Indians. Heck! If the Aryans can cause so much trouble if they never existed, just imagine how much more trouble they would have created if they had actually existed?

Hurrah! 1000 page views

Hurrah, the Indic Race blog has registered 1000 page views. This is a great moment for us here @ Indic Race. When we started this blog way back in 2009, there was not much activity in terms of posts but now with the count of posts slowly increasing over the past few months the page view count has spiked. Last month alone accounted for over 600 page views. Oh and BTW, the page views do not include views from our systems. We thank you all for your support and patronage. This only reinforces our commitment to ensure non-western viewpoints are recorded on the internet and also Euro-centric history is challenged and relegated to the dustbin some day!

Prahar a counter to the Hatf-9 tactical nuclear weapon?

I was wondering when the Indians would call the Paki bluff on their hatf-9 tactical nuclear weapon. It is not to difficult to see that the hatf-9 is nothing but a MBRLS and any nuclear warhead delivered from a rocket launched off a MBRL system needs to be manufactured with extreme precision and miniaturized to a great extent. At a time when many folks on the various defence forums on the internet question if Pakistan is able to miniaturize its warheads enough to place on a ballistic missile, rocket based nuclear warhead is too much to accept even for the most amateur (like me) of defence followers. Pakistan's nuclear blackmail was suitably checkmated with India's undeclared but well known cold start doctrine. Division after division of tanks and ICVs crossing into Pakistan and bisecting it was giving sleepless nights to the Pakistani generals. They needed another one of their famous ruses to play the good old game of appeasing local concerns by announcing the development of the hatf-9 "tactical nuclear weapon". So they got some cheap Russian reverse-engineered MBRLs from China, big deal! I was just waiting for the Indian army to announce its jhatka which would bitch-slap these Pakistani generals into djinn territory. And it happened. The PRAHAR missile has been announced. Developing a 150 KM missile is no big deal for Mr. Saraswat's men at the DRDO. At a time when India is deliberating developing the AGNI-VI truly ICBM and while many other options exist which can be used in the same role as the PRAHAR, announcing a new missile leaves many without doubt that it is to raise the blood pressure of the alcohol guzzling Paki generals!

Given that cruise missiles are very expensive and large scale tactical use of nuclear weapons, though the stuff of science fiction disaster movies, does not have a direct weapon mapped to it in the Indian arsenal. Yes I did mention that Indian army has other alternatives but those dont come cheap. For example, the Brahmos though having a minimum range limit given its speed costs a fortune apiece. The Nirbhay under development will again not come cheap. Prithvi, Agni all cost an arm or leg and figure more in strategic thinking terms. Hence the Prahar fills up the role that Brahmos and Nirbhay are too costly too fill.

The details of this new missile are sketchy and Shri Saraswat has said that the same launch vehicle could launch the PRAHAR missile with various warhead configurations which pretty much means this is again a MBRL based tactical weapon system. More to come on the Prahar weapon as I analyze it more and post my thoughts here.

India and the failed states which surround it

It has become common habit for every little weasel nation around us to blame their problems around us. We are one unfortunate nation to have neighbours such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Burma. The only neighbour of ours who is as sensible and logical minded as us is Bhutan and no wonder our relations with them are cordial. Though the Sri Lankans are a progressive people and reasonable they have been blinded by the Buddhist chauvinism and of course the rabid Dravidian minded LTTE are also to blame. India sits as a beacon of hope amidst all these failed nations and is the subcontinent's last hope in reclaiming its past glory. India serves as a role model in the subcontinent on how a secular democracy can flourish in spite of various impediments like Communism/Maoism, Islamic radicalism, Evangelism and of course foreign subversion.

When left alone, it is seen that only India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal can grow and prosper. Pakistan, Bangladesh and Burma are all consumed by internal poison injected into them either by indigenous sources or from without like China, US, EU or the Arab. We Indians have to put up with whines and rants from our failed state neighbours on how the Indian hand is behind all their problems and have to keep a straight face towards their own internal mess.

Not a day passes off without me smiling at news reports of Paki bravado intimidating the US on the drone flights over its airspace. The Pakis make it sound as if all their problems are because of the US which in actuality everyone knows that it is the Turks to blame for Pakistan's troubles. The Turks invaded India and injected the radical Islam virus in them and they all turned zombies. In this I am reminded of the movie "I am legend" :-). The Paki radical Islamist mindset meant that they never could see solidarity with their Indic brethren and preferred to act all Arab and non-Indic as if that would impress the Indians. The Indians in the meantime were in guffaws over the weird Paki nature and remembered that one famous saying in India --> " The recent convert shouts Allah the loudest ".

The fascist mindset of the Srilankans meant that they never could accept the Tamilians as their own. The Tamils actually contributed to generating such a feeling in the first place. All their Dravidian pseudo-science nonsensical theories of "Tamilagam" and "Tamilanukkendrey oru naadu illai" sowed seeds of suspicion in the minds of the Sri Lankan and Indian rulers and the flames of this movement were actively fanned by the ruling Dravidian administrations of Tamil Nadu. For the DMK, all that was needed was power and they were willing to even side with the Muslims who wanted to partition India. It is not difficult to see what deracination of some Indians from the Indic culture can to do to India itself. A deracinated Indian does not want to see Indian in one piece. The Dravidian mindset of the Sri Lankan Tamils and the fascist nature of the Buddisht Chauvinist Sri Lankan leadership meant that peace was never given a chance in Sri Lanka and conflict always loomed large in this tiny island nation.

Are we a fanatical secular extremist nation?

Namaste,

Every time I hear about Pakistan, I am reminded of the frenzied frothing Jihadis who in their love for the adopted Arabic identity wanted to severe their home land and keep a piece to themselves. Thousand years of fanatical Muslim onslaught finally achieved its logical end, not from without but from within. It wasn't some Turkish or Afghan Muslim convert king who wanted an Islamic state drawn out of Bharath but a converted Rajput by name Jinnah who felt greater proximity to the Arabs than his Indic brethren. Indeed, the mind of a convert works in a very strange manner. Overnight they begin to hate their own ancestors, their own history and even their own brethren. Father against Son, Mother against Daughter, nothing is wrong for the convert who wants to appease the ones who influcenced his conversion. After all, it is said in India, the recent convert shouts Allah the loudest. Overnight they stop wearing Indic clothers, stop using their Indic names, stop singing Indic songs and start viewing all Indic dance forms as vulgar and haraam. The Islamic barbarian onslaught on India was not enough to Islamicize all of India, it was not as easy for the Muslims to Islamicize parts of the Indian subcontinent as it was for them to convert our former Zoroastrarian Persian brethren. But Pakistan and Bangladesh did come into existence, fruits of the Islamist labour of allegiance towards the barbarous Arabic desert nomads and tyrants.

Today in Pakistan, the race is on to prove who is more Islamic and who is more "pure". Wahhabi form of Islam is considered the purest and all other sects like Sufism, Ahmediya, Shias etc are considered haraam. In India a lot of us scoff at the Pakistani strife of ever increasing extremism, intolerance and bigotry. We feel, here in India we are safe from such vile things and that we with our "Secular" credentials are above all that nonsense. Indeed, the race was on in India on who is more "secular" and move away from the Hindu identity of this nation. Even the Hindu identity of the nation was denied and anyone even slightly suggesting that the India of today is made of Hindu, Sikh, Jain, and Buddhist fabric was immediately branded a right-wing activist of worse a member of the RSS/VHP/Bajrang Dal "Sangh Parivar". So what we saw in India and still continue to see on an ever increasing basis is secular extremism to the tune of state secular terrorism in that skewed secularism is being imposed by the Government on the masses. This extremist secularism was so busy in disassociating people from their Hindu/Sikh/Jain/Buddhist identity that it allowed the spawning of the Islamist Kashmir, Christian North East and almost Islamic Kerala problems. Even mere mention of the existence of these problems was enough to pack off the "secular brigade" in a frenzied rabid trance and have the "oppression of minorites" spirit possess them. The media which was supposed to the exorcist for very such situations was found missing. Those who realized the absence of the exorcist and decided to volunteer for the task were branded the devil by the spirit itself and everyone agreed that the spirit was right in its action and the exorcist be damned.

In this secular extremist environment, the people most hurt were the MAJORITY Hindus/Sikhs/Jains and Sikhs. Indeed, in India democracy is "For the minority, of the minority and by the minority". To the "secular brigade" denouncing everything Hindu and suppressing any semblance of a voice for the silent majority became a "Jihad" and hence for the rest of the course of this article I will term them secular Jihadis, after all the "secular brigade" has great sympathy for the Jihadi cause. To the extent that the secular jihadis work overtime to somehow convey the message that the issue in Kashmir is not an Islamist seperatist movement but one based on the "genuine" feelings of Kashmir who want more jobs, "freedom" and "justice". I just wonder why the many slum dwellers in Chennai do not ask for a seperate nation after all they do not get even a semblance of what the Kashmiris supposedly want and in fact get quite in plenty. It is not without reason that when it comes to per capita income Kashmiris do better than most other states in India because the state is awash with government funds appropriated from other states, money that the Kashmiris did not produce from their state economy. Here the Government wants to play Robin hood but in this case the benefactors are not wronged poor people but a spoilt Islamist population who want the best the Indian state can offer but at the same time owe their allegiance to the Islamist states. And the secular brigade wants to send across the impression that only a minority in Kashmir want freedom and are extremist in their views. Let me be politically incorrect here, nothing could be further from the truth than the secular brigade's views on Kashmir. Let me put it on record, Kashmir issue is an Islamist secessionist movement who took inspiration from the formation of Pakistan and the little resistance from the Hindus in letting go of a good chunk of their territory. The Kashmir problem is as a result of the 2 nation theory to which our supposed nationalist leaders offered token opposition, mostly verbally, but never took any "direct action" to prevent from materializing. A majority of the valley Muslims want independence from India not because of want for "better jobs" and amenities, it is because they think they are different from the rest of the crowd in the nation of India. Being Muslim, they feel they belong to the middle Eastern civilization and not to the Indian nation or of the Indian Muslim tag. A seperate Muslim nation is what they call for. Until the 90's they wanted to be part of that another "pure" nation of Pakistan, but economic chaos and a failed state tag convinced the Kashmiris that they want an Islamic state of their own. Such is the mind of the convert.

Without doubt, secular extremism is on the rise in India. With their job almost done in Kashmir and with media constantly reporting "alienation and disenchantment due to want of better jobs and economic opportunities" the next job on the hands of the secular brigade is to raise the rouse of the "Hindu extremism". The Hindus naturally do not bite back or issue fatwas and hence are easy target. No secular Jihadi has the cojones to openly challenge fatwas or criticize the Mullahs in India for fear of life and property. No secular Jihadi has the cojones to call the bluff on the Kashmir issue and call the spade a spade. No secular Jihadi has had the cojones to wonder why a major bulk of the Muslim population in India during independence supported partition and went on to create Pakistan. That the Hindus, Jains or Buddhists did not want a religion based nation of their own is too uncomfortable a politically incorrect topic for them to deal with. I just wonder that if India had remained united during independence and if calls for Pakistan had come from the Islamic leaders, would the secular brigade have gone on to term the movement as instigated for the want of "better jobs and economic opportunities"? The secular brigade in India remains intentionally blind to the Islamist secessionist movements across the world from Palestine to Aceh in Indonesia and works hard to ensure the "Islamist secessionist" tag comes nowhere near the Kashmir issue. If it necessitates insulting and heaping allegations on the Indian security forces, so be it, but the Islamic Jihadi is not to be left unsupported. Some secular jihadi members have even had the gall to suggest that the Kashmir problem is a result of the Indian secular high handedness in Kashmir. If this is not cultural and civilizational deracination I am not sure what else is.

The Hindus of India are a strange lot. Scores of visiting foreigners have ridiculed the Hindus that in spite of being in the majority they are constantly abused and harrassed by the minorities. To add to this Hindu victimization, the secular brigade works overtime to ensure Hindu grievances, fears and ambitions are mocked and made to appear as right wing fascist whines! RSS and VHP/Bajrang Dal are the favourite scapegoats of the secular brigade. The social work and truly secular agenda of these groups is immaterial to the secular brigade. However they have no issue with Dravidian seperatism, anti-Brahmanical stance of the political parties in Tamil Nadu or in UP. They have no issue with the illegal migration from Bangladesh or the anti national activities of the Naxalites. The only public enemy, per them, is Hindu extremism. Narendra Modi can go to hell for his alleged state sponsored pogrom but Dr. Binayak Sen is a national hero. Veer Savarkar is a bigot but Muhammad Iqbal is a saint. Such is the state of secular extremism in India where it is prohibited for a Indian to be openly proud of national heroes like Shivaji, Maharana Pratap, Bappa Rawal, Lachit Bopakhurn, Veer Savarkar etc. Islamic bigots like Tipu and Akbar are called "secular" and the secular brigade flushes with joy when any visiting foreigner is only shown images of Mughal North India as the overall picture of India. Vedic India, Gupta India, Chozha India, Chalukya India all take back seat to the Taj Mahal India. The Danish Islamic cartoons are viewed seriously but MF Hussain is considered a martyr. The banning of islamic minarets in Switzerland is frowned upon but the banning of all other religions in Islamic nations is viewed as normal and even considered as normal. The minaret banning in Europe is considered as a fundamental threat to Indian Muslims but slaughter of Hindus in Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Malaysia is not even given token lip sympathy. In this growing national death dance of secular frenzy, each secular Jihadi see humiliating Hinduism, its leaders and followers as a quick fire strategy to achieve instant success. Baba Ramdev is considered a villain but fatwa issuing bigoted Mullahs are never an issue. The Hindu populace in the meanwhile, in a clueless manner, goes and votes this very secular Jihadi political parties to power. Such is the brainwashing of the masses by the leftist and Congress inspired secular Jihadis that even the BJP is increasingly inching towards minority appeasement to achieve some semblance of a decent results in national elections.

As minorities grow in number and the Hindu religion shrinks in size the day is not far off when Hindus will have to struggle for their own Israel. The North East is lost to Christians who want many parts of that region for Christ! The rest of North East is already occupied by illegal migrants from Bangladesh. Kashmir and Kerala have long been a lost cause. Many parts of Central India is almost under the control of naxalites and Tamil Nadu has long been lost to Dravidian seperatism. Perhaps in the future, pockets of Hindus in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka may raise their own struggle for a Israel type Hindu nation. But rest assured that the secular brigade will be waiting with its fangs and claws ready and plot its downfall.

Dharma & Ethics conference

It is such a pleasure to listen to the wonderful thoughts of the intellectual Kshatriya Prof. Balagangadhar ji. My friend from twitter with handle @HinduIDF (Hindu Internet Defence Force) shared this video with me...

Please see all the parts and pass on the message, very informative and gives a good idea of the idea of Bharath.

Western Converts are well...ugh!

EDIT: Apparently not clearly defining what a "convert" is in the context of this article has upset folks. I truly apologize if I somehow sent across the message that I meant all "Western Hindus". I did not. By convert, I mean a person who has completely deracinated himself/herself, completely shed all traces of past culture, religion and ethnicity, insulted and humiliated his past culture, religion and ancestors and sings paens of new adopted religion as if it were cure for every ill on the earth and has delivered him/her from all the ills brought about by the previous religion/culture. For all those nice people who have come here and courteously informed me of my hurting their feelings, I apologize profusely!

Westerner Hindu "converts" make me feel sick! Well, I should be happy that they have turned towards Hinduism and all but their completely abandoning their earlier culture and faith goes exactly against Hinduism's true essence. Here in Indic Race we have always ridiculed those brand of converts who abandon their past identities and turn upon their own ancestors, culture and religion. Why is that a westerner who was born and brought up in his own culture have to "convert" to Hinduism and then change his name and attire? Many of these folks actually go on to criticize Christianity and Judaism and speak ill of other westerners as well. Isn't this an anti-thesis to what Hinduism is all about? Its perfectly normal for a westerner to retain his western name, his food habits, his clothing, his religion and traditions and STILL BE A HINDU! They can appreciate the greatness of Hinduism and enjoy the inner peace that it offers without attacking Xtianity or Judaism. I am sure Lord Krishna would be more happy with such folks than the Hindu aping Western converts!

Arent these the same people who abandoned their indigenous religions and converted en masse to Xtianity? They then went on to brand their ancestors "pagans". Shame! Now they run to Hinduism!

All westerns are welcome to Hinduism! But not at the cost of your western culture, religion, traditions and values!

With regards,
Indic Race team

-----------------------------------------------

My comment reply to the gentlemen who commented earlier is veryyyyy long and the formatting got messed up. I am posting that inline here with the write-up

-----------------------------------------

At the outset, I want to clarify that I meant Western "converts" and not the Western folks who do not shed their past culture completely or speak ill of their ancestors and their traditions. Check the edit I made to the article and my clear definition on the word "convert". I welcome Westerners to have a open mind to all pagan religions, not Hinduism alone and not give up on their past traditions, culture and EVEN religion. Whilst I encourage Western Hindus (folks who have experienced its glory and believe in its values), I am sickened by the converts. There is a saying in India, it goes like "The most recent convert shouts Allah the loudest". When western converts to Hinduism engage in tirades against their past cultures and religion, now THAT sickens me. So you can see there is no contradiction when I say that I welcome Western Hindus but not the Western converts! Now Tandava ji, I bet you are no "convert". I do not want to go into what you are because, you would agree with me, it's none of my business! Your write-up made for very interesting reading. But in some points I disagree with you completely. They are, as below,

In all your justifications for some of the things you feel, I kept getting reminded of my conversation with converts of many hues and shades and also some of the literature on the internet on "transformation" and "awakening" to other religions. Not that you meant it that way but I just want to highlight the fact that "conversion" and beleiving that "this religion is the best way out there" all reek of Abrahammic overtones and not the truly Sanatana spirit of universal acceptance and acknowleding that there is more than one path and the truth is known by different names (Ekam Sath Vipraa Bahudaa Vadaanti, RV). For example you say, you were "awakened" by Sanatana Dharma. Most of the Christian converts I meet say that they were "called" or "awakened' by Jesus into realizing that he is the only way to salvation and God's kingdom. Your statement on everyone being born a Hindu but whether they are awakened or not is oft used by Islamists who say that everyone is born a Muslim and only the ones who realize that "Allah is the ONLY God and that Mohammed is his last prophet" are saved from the hell fire and on judgement day. Interesting analogies, aren't they? A Western convert may have felt impressed by the ideals and teachings of Hinduism but that is no reason to abandon their past culture and religion correct? I am sure Neelakantha would not be upset if a Christian would pray to him and still feel inspired by Jesus's teachings? Shiva sure is no jealous God is he? Now there are many Hindus out there who would pounce on me and say it is this thought lines from Hindus which weakens us from within and leads to conversion of Hindus to other religions for weren't they the same people who say that all religions are the same? Sure they are the same, thats the reason why I follow Buddha's teachings in my life. I did not abandon Hinduism just because I felt inspired by Buddha did I? When it comes to Westerns I see them as liberals and possessing the intellectual capabilities to be free of fanaticism (of
course the missionaries are always an exception). Hindus can confidently speak of their belief of universality and oneness of religions without fear of being to convert to Christianity or Islam since Hindus claim they are all the same!

How does changing a name or attire change anything you ask? How is it a slight towards one's ancestors you ask? Good question, here comes the answer. If you see Abrahammic faiths, they also double up as political theories and are essentially a means to achieve destruction and subversion of other cultures and proudly proclaim that the "true" religion's message has been spread. Here in India we see converts fake a cheap western accent, play western instruments and eat western junk food. That many people who have not converted also do this is another matter but I do condemn that as well, for their deracination will only weaken the culture and their inherent mindset that everything western is cool! I digressed a bit there. A Christian lady in India will readily pick up a guitar but will flatly refuse to play the indigenous instrument Veena. In Veena she sees the Devil but in Guitar she sees nothing wrong. Do you now see how even the most secular of objects have cultural acceptance quotients to them? That the Indian Christian lady refuses to play the Veena is a victory of a alien faith in destroying the local culture, customs and traditions. That the local Mosque Mullah insists only on Arabic names for Indian or British Muslim children is proof that the local naming practices is treaded upon and the customs of the alien faith are given priority. I do my daily Sandhyavandanam and before me my ancestors have been doing it in a lineage going back thousands of years to our Gothra Guru Shri Kutsav. I drag my lazy butt day in and day out to do Sandhyavandanam in a disciplined manner because in following their examples, traditions and values I let them know of my respect and allegiance to the way of our people. Just imagine if I wear a full suit and go sit in a Church. wouldnt it amount to a slap on the face of my ancestors? Who am I trying to fool?

And frankly, ji, I have never heard of Sattvic clothing. I have heard of food and colours that bring out the best Sattvic Guna in you but never Sattvic clothes. The only clothes which have a Hindu religios connection I know is the complete saffron clothing which is a sign of complete reununciation and liberation from kama and vyamoha. Not sure if you have heard of this, but in India many customs differ between various Hindu groups. It is explained that this is because that based on region the Dharma has subtle differences to it. It is not difficult to see why this is so. A thick clothing is very helpful in the UK but it would boil you to no end here in South India. A man marrying 4 wives in Arabia where frenzied fanatical men were busy killing each other and depleting the male sex population so much that it was but only natural that one man married 4 women ensured some amount of social order. If an Indian or British Muslim man lustfully marries 4 women citing this precedent then it is in bad taste. Will Shiva feel agitated if you wear a shirt and trouser in Saffron colour, after all it is a Sattvic colour, right? You speak of your Guru giving you a name? If your Guru will not be in good terms with you just because you refuse to give up the name you had for a really long time and which contains your family name then your Guru is no sincere man. Is Richard Gere less of a Buddhist just because he is not named Nirvananda? Just assume, if all of UK converts to Hinduism or Islam and name their children with Sanskrit or Arabic names what will happen to the British names, culture and traditions? It will die a natural death. This sir, is what I am dead against, death of cultures, religions and traditions! You say traditions should be preserved it they are Sattvic. That's aking to a Mullah saying everything Unislamic is haraam and should be discontinued. Your ancestors and forefathers had their own vision and understanding of righteousness based on circumstances and societal setup around them and they devised things in a manner which catered to that righteousness. Saying that those traditions and values will be discontinued as they do not cater to the norms set by a religion founded half way around the world is not right! To that end the English language, the western food and even bedtime stories need to be given up as they are not "Sattvic enough.

Sanjeev said that the Celtic religion was just a carbon copy of Hinduism if not Hinduism in itself. I am sorry, but I am reminded of Zakir Naik here. That dude went around saying that Islam is a lot like Hinduism and hence all Hindus must convert to Islam. I know, its a crude analogy but trying to appropriate Celtic religion into Hindu fold by highlighting a few superficial similarities is equally crude in itself, I must say with regret. And the rationale that since a good part of scriptures were lost in Christian frenzy is reason enough to abandon pagan European religions holds very little water. No offence in any of my statements meant Tandava ji, I hope you take in right spirit. But let me explain why, I am sure you know the Balinese Hindus. their traditions and practices of what is also considered Hinduism is very different from the ones mentioned in the various Puranas. But they are still Hindu arent they and no Hindu ever complained that they werent "Hindu" enough. The Sandhyavandanam I do daily is quite different from the one done by a Vaishnavite. Several thousand years ago there was just on Sandhyavandanam. It is Hinduism's greatness that it has evolved with time and region and Dharma being relevant to the people and region without compromising on righteousness. So do I give up on my rituals because they do not match exactly with what was originally done and in its exact form? I am constantly learning new things on the European religions and hope to imbibe many of their teachings in my daily life.

I do criticize local Indian converts from Hinduism to other religions. I view them with great scorn and have criticized them quite often in my blog as sell outs. And then there are people like Jesudas and Gurram Joshua who can be as Hindu as can be even though they were Christians. I agree with you 100% that Hinduism cannot be confined to the Indian subcontinent and I never claimed it to be so. I hope I have replied in a manner which is not hurting in any manner. Any offence felt is unintentional and I apologize profusely for the same.

Afzal Guru's hanging and a few thoughts on Indian Muslims

One of the reasons you often see bandied about in the media on why Afzal Guru is not hanged is that it might upset the Indian Muslim vote bank. Huh? Does it mean that Afzal Guru is supported by the Indian Muslims? Isn't this a direct insult heaped on the Indian Muslims? Here in Indic Race we disagree. Such careless comments not only defames an entire community, it also send across wrong signals to the Pakistanis that the Indian Muslims somehow sympathize for the Jihadis sent across the border by them. No doubt, there are some sections of Indian Muslims who do sympathize with the Jihadis like the Indian Mijahiddeen, the Popular Front of India, the Karnataka forum for dignity, the Hurriyat conference etc. But the average Muslim is least bothered about Pakistan. A majority of the Indian Muslims view Pakistan as a failed state and see no hope in it. the supposed haven for the subcontinental Muslims has turned out to be a haven for frothing Saudi funded Wahabi Jihadis.

Amongst all the din of fatwas and radical sermons by many Mullahs in India, sane voices like Javed Akhthar, MJ Akbar and Maroof Raza are proof that the Indic strain in Indian Muslims  makes them highly immune to the radical Islam ideology. Surprisingly you will find that many of these Muslims still view Hindus and other religion followers as Kafir and on following the wrong path. As long as this view is personal and kept to self there is nothing wrong or illegal about it. I think my neighbour on the floor below mine is a fool and is on the wrong path, I have the freedom of belief don't I? This is not all too different from the Christians who say that Jesus Christ is the only saviour. I often engage in debates with my Muslim friends on how all religions have the same message and each of them is a valid path to God but they never agree and say that Islam is the only way! They scoff at all other religions and outright deny that some verses in Islam is violent and discriminatory in nature. But ask them about Kasab and Afzal Guru and their blood will boil. They immediately say that these Jihadis ought to be hanged immediately. And they are genuine in this.

The Indic strain is indeed a peculiar one. Scores of NRIs in foreign nations never turn hostile against their adopted nations and at the same time never turn hostile against India as well. They gel well into the adopted community and eventually earn the title of model citizens. This is the same strain which pervades the Indian Muslim. He can talk hours and hours on how Islam is the most ideal way of life but will immediately seethe with anger at the very mention of Pakistan. A majority of Indian Muslims are very patriotic but this does not mean that they view some Indic traditions and religions as Haraam and created by the devil's influence :-).

One definitely has to question the logic behind the Indian Muslims clamouring to support the Palestine cause. Why is that they dont support the Hindus in Bangladesh or the Hindus in Malaysia who are being brutally attacked with the same strength as they rush to support the Palestinians? Is it some in built love for the Arabs and if so is this infused in them through Islam? Why dont Indian Muslims rush to support the Aceh Muslims if its just about support to fellow Muslims and not the love for Arabs then? Are co-religionists more important than fellow Indics? Why do Indian Muslims(majority) hate Israel? Is this because of traditional Muslim hatred for Jews or is it that it is because of Israel spanking Palestinians when the Jihadi threat goes berserk? Why do Muslims oppose India's diplomatic relations with Israel? BTW, wasnt it the Muslim appeasing congress which took the first steps to establish relations with Israel? The Indian Muslims will have to answer these questions and their continued silence on these matters is what fuels suspicion in the minds of other non-Muslim Indics.

It will be very difficult for Hindus to forgive the Mapillah rebellion, the Khilafat movement, the extermination of Kashmiri Pandits, the Godhra train burning and the campaign against India's dear friend, Israel. How Muslims strive to allay the fears of other communities in India is to be seen and followed.

Nobel peace prize for Manmohan Singh? Price is Kashmir!

It is with great sadness and shame that I today blog this write-up on the Indian govt having a special session with Pakistan on Kashmir. Sigh! Here is a direct slap on the faces of our heroes, Shri. Ranjit Singh, Shri. Maharana Pratap, Shri. Shivaji , Shri. Krishna Deva Raya, Shri. Subhash Chandra Bose, Shri. Chandrasekhar Azad and many others who fought so valiantly to protect the borders of our multi-religious and multi-lingual nation. It was with pride that they attached the tag of Bharath on their shoulders. One wonders if the current ruling dispensation has descended from such great and illustrious ancestors. A special session on Kashmir with Pakistan. Oh my Parabrahmana! What's next? A special session on Khalistan with them? What rubbish and unadulterated filth!

Sharm Al Sheikh was the first instance when it became clear to the Indian populace that the current Congress government has no regard whatsoever to the popular public sentiment and had capitulated to the Pakistani demands. Since that capitulation did not satisfy the defeatist ambitions of the Italian Catholic Congress government we now have to witness this another travesty of a sham dialogue with Pakistani which even the common man on the road understands will yield nothing but some sort of mileage for Shri. Manmohan Singh for a potential Nobel peace prize. Which ruling government will willingly have discussions with a hostile neighbour on a piece of land over which it claims it has complete sovereignty. Is it then that Shri. Manmohan Singh believes that India has doubtful sovereignty on Kashmir?

A few more years of this regime will probably see the giving away of large portions of Indian land to hostile neighbours like Pakistan and China. Siachen Glacier, Chinese occupied Kashmir, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir will all be traded away for a nobel peace prize for Shri. Manmohan Singh. A single blade of grass may not grow on Aksai Chin or on the Siachen, but they are part of the Indian territory and our forefathers have in the past sacrificed lives to safeguard and secure them. Indian territory and sovereignty huh? Don't those word sound funny now? We had thrust upon us a de-facto foreign ruler like Sonia Maino. We now have thrust upon us strategic dialogues giving away Indian territory to Pakistan. What's next, we wonder.

May God forgive the sins of our current Government leaders. May Indian history forgive their grace mistakes!

With a sad heart,

Wily converts and their divide India campaign

I ran into this article by a convert. Converts are brain-washed zombies who are taught to hate the religion, culture and social setup of their own ancestors. In this article I posted a comment, take a look.

There’s no escaping racism in India

My comment:

You are just another convert who has been trained to hate her own nation's culture, ideology and religion. We Indians are aware of missionaries who aim to divide India on religious, caste and other such lines. I am a South Indian and I care a damn about any South-North divide, I love my South Indian brothers and sisters as much as I love the North Indian brothers and sisters. And no, a Punjabi Sikh or Hindu would think just like a Tamilian that secularism is the best while a Paki Punjabi thinks that he is the purest and most Islamic! Din't your missionaries teach you this? Oh by the way, how much did you take to convert to Christianity? a bicycle, some cash, eh? Easy money eh?

Geert Wilders not guilty

Hurrah to freedom of speech! Politically incorrect Geert Wilders has always been right and the politically correct media never could digest that fact!

Here in Indic Race, our hats off to Geert Wilders! May your tribe increase.

Cheap aping of the US -- Bugs in FM office bring it to fore

I don't believe it. I turn on the television and what do I see? Our own respect Bharatiya Adarsha Nari terming the placing of bugs in FM office as being India's Watergate scandal. I am shocked Sushma ji. et tu? Why do even the most sensible and educated of India fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to the Americans? Why compare ourselves against an inferior culture? They may be richer but culturally they are a no-show. The only worthy equal we ought to be comparing ourselves against is China, let's not forget that. Some of the recent irritants in the media,

1. MF Hussain mentioned as "Picasso" of India
2. Barkha Dutt's power broking conversations being described as "Barkhagate"
3. Live second by second coverage of Obama's visit. Obama who?
4. If navy seals can do it can our own Indian special forces also do it? Do we have the capability? Rubbish!
5. Maniratnam referred to as Spielberg of India!

And a lot more. Pah! What low levels we can stoop down to. Shame!
